Ahwatukee is genuinely cut off from the rest of Phoenix by South Mountain Park, which changes real dispatch routing. And South Scottsdale has the oldest housing stock of anywhere we serve, old enough that galvanized pipe, not just hard-water scale, is a real and common cause of trouble.

ZIP codes in this part of Maricopa County don't always line up neatly with city or town limits, according to the boundary data behind Guadalupe's 85283 ZIP code. That same ZIP also covers part of South Tempe, and the two are separate municipalities with their own governments even though a ZIP-lookup tool would show identical results for both. West Mesa's 85202 similarly sits right at the Tempe border, close enough that some addresses feel like they could belong to either city.
